Midwest Helicopter Academy has been teaching students how to fly helicopters since 1992. Many improvements have been made over the years but none more notable than the introduction of the Guimbal Cabri G2. Guimbal Helicopters was founded in October, 2000 with the sole intention of building a safer 2 seat training helicopter. After 6 years of research and development the first G2 received it’s rating. Midwest Helicopter Academy owns and operates 4 G2s purchasing it’s first in 2015.
The G2 is equipped with a 3 blade fully articulated rotor head with composite blades that have a very high inertia compared to other trainers on the market. They provide the helicopter an autorotation ability which exceeds the minimum US Army requirement by 50%.
If you are looking to get started by flying the most advanced and safest trainer in production today look no further.
